This is a dainty, diminutive set of sterling sugar tongs manufactured by the Webster Silver Company during the early to mid-20th century. The pattern is known only by number, "9555" and it is especially elegant by virtue of the reticulated pattern. The tongs are 2 1/2 inches long and 3/8 inch wide at the top. They are clearly marked with the manufacturer's hallmark, "Sterling" and the pattern number. The condition is excellent, with no dents, wrinkles, unusual bends or monograms. This little set weighs .3 ounce.
