This well-preserved child's school reader has approximately 80 to 100 pages, although none are numbered. It still has its dust jacket, although the hard cover underneath has the same decoration. The overall condition is excellent (with the exception of the obvious tears to the dust jacket). The binding is fine, all pages are present and there are no stains, odors, tears or other problems. The only notation in the whole book is a dedication just inside the front cover which contains the year "1933." The copyright date is not found in the book. It was published by Frederick Warne & Co., LTD, of London and New York. There are 16 color plates and many more black and white prints in a block print style. It was printed in Great Britain. The book has poetry, word lists, stories, and many informative drills that first grade through third grade might cover. The measurements are 9 3/4 inches, 7 3/4 inches, 1 3/8 inches. This volume weighs 1 pound, 11 ounces.
