This is an early 20th century print of Napoleon framed beneath a painted black and gold pane of glass and set in a wooden frame. The frame is painted silver with black highlights, which offers an elegant touch to the entire composition. This frame measures 6 1/4 inches by 5 1/4 inches by 1/2 inch. A small, brass ring is mounted on the top of the frame for hanging on the wall. The image of Napoleon is surrounded by a colorful border, giving it the appearance of stained glass. The print, glass and frame are believed to be original, and we believe this item dates between 1910 and the 1930s. The condition is excellent. There are no stains, foxing or tears on the print. The painted glass is unblemished and the frame is tight at the corners and shows only the lightest surface wear from normal handling. There are no signatures visible. This item weighs 5.1 ounce.
