This is a set of six matching, sterling silver demi-tasse spoons. Each spoon is 4 1/8 inches long and the gold-washed bowls are each 3/4 inch wide. Each delicate spoon has the hand-chased figure of a centaur at the end of the handle. The condition of each spoon is excellent. There are no dents, twists, bends or other problems. Each spoon is engraved on the back of the handle with three initials, "SAC" in a lovely script. The back of the handle is also impressed with the Gorham hallmarks, "Sterling" and "26." This pattern could only be identified by "No. 26." It was first produced in 1890. All six spoons together weigh 1.7 ounces.
