Vintage Clothing & Acc. Silver Swans Belt Buckle, Vintage Accessory

Our Price: $ 25.00 This is an unusual belt buckle or clasp in the form of two graceful interlocking swans.  When together, they measure 6 in. long and 2 1/8 in. wide.  These buckles can accommodate a 1 1/2 in. width of material.  They are unmarked as to metal content or maker.  They appear to be silverplated on brass.  We believe that they were manufactured between the 1930s and 1960s.  The condition is very good.  There are no dents or twists.  The clasp is in fine condition, as are the fabric rods. On the reverse some of the plating has rubbed away to reveal the brass underneath.  This complete belt buckle weighs 1.2 ounces.   Updating . . .
