This is a very charming, antique child's book, published in 1900 by Lothrop Publishing Company of Boston. The author is not identified, nor are any of the artists except by individual signatures on the illustrations. Little Sunbeams for Cloudy Days is part of the Sunbeam Series and is a compilation of stories and poetry for children.There are lithographs to illustrate every entry throughout the book. This book does not have a table of contents, nor are the pages numbered. There are approximately 40 pages. The binding is intact and there are no missing, torn, stained or damaged pages. There is no musty odor. The only notation found in the book is on the inside cover, where it was dedicated to a student by a teacher. The hard cover shows some wear on the front back and along the spine, simply from use by children. The measurements of this book are 7 7/8 inches by 10 inches by 3/4 inches. It weighs 1 pound.
