This is one page of L'Album De Ferogio, published in 1852 with a collection of hand-colored lithographs by Francois Fortune Antoine Ferogio (French, 1805-1888). The page size is 14 1/2 inches by 9 3/4 inches. The condition is very good, with no tears, stains, wrinkles or folds within the image body. Along the edge of the piece there is mild evidence of having been handled several times, i.e. folded corner, wrinkle on left edge and holes on the left side from the book binding. The reverse is blank and the only signature is along the top edge, faintly in white, "L'ALBUM DE FEROGIO." The title is unknown but the subject is very entertaining; a group of young boys having a great time climbing trees. The weight of this page is less than 1 ounce.
